The mission for Angels for Animals Mo is to provide financial funding to animals and animal groups and shelters in the state of Missouri for all purposes through fundraising events and donations.
Ruth Anne Scheidegger - Board Chair
Ruth Anne is the founder and Chair of Angels for Animals MO. She has always had a passion for animals and knew that she could make a difference for those without a voice. Her leadership and guidance has made a difference in the lives of countless animals. She served on the board for Five Acres Animal Shelter from 2008-2019. She currently is promoting Angels for Animal MO for animals in our state. She also serves as a board member for The Child Advocacy Center in Wentzville.
Caty Beilsmith - Treasurer
Caty is a partner at WIPFLI, LLP and specializes in working with corporations and closely held businesses in construction, real estate, and healthcare industries. Her passion for understanding all aspects of her client's business introduced her to the animal world nearly 10 years ago as Treasurer for Five Acres Animal Shelter and now Angels for Animals MO. This passion coincides with a lifelong love for animals and helping them find a forever home.
Carolyn Hughes - Vice Chair
Carolyn Hughes has had a life-long love and compassion for animals and began volunteering at an animal rescue organization at the Central Missouri Humane Society, while in college at The University of Missouri-Columbia where she majored in Fashion Merchandising
and Marketing. She served on The Advisory Committee for Five Acres Animal Shelter, as well as volunteered at the shelter. Her family's four pets are all rescues and her passion has always been to work with an organization supporting animal rescue and welfare.
Jennifer Piglowski
Jennifer was raised in St. Charles County. She is a Broker Salesperson at Coldwell Banker Realty-Gundaker. While she enjoys helping sellers and buyers with their real estate needs, she also found a passion in finding "furever" homes for our furry friends too! For over ten years, her real estate team donates to Five Acres Animal Shelter annually for every listing closed. She served on the Advisory Board in the past and each October, she organizes Stockin' Up for Shelter Pet Supply Drive.
Mary Banmiller
Mary is a partner and Director of Operations at Warrenton Oil Company. Warrenton Oil operates fifty-eight convenience stores under the FastLane brand, three hotels and a transportation division. After traveling across Missouri, Kansas and Colorado and not being able to find a good place for a pet stop, Mary and her sister Ann decided to add a dog park to the store in Kingdom City, Mo. Since then, they have added another dog park in Eolia, Mo. The company also operates two dog washes, one in St. Charles and one in Wentzville, Mo.
Fastlane first began supporting Five Acres Animal Shelter several years ago. Now, Fastlane supports animal shelters throughout the state of Missouri. That support has included fuel promotions for pets, adoption events, donating sheets and towels to pet shelters and pet days at the corporate office.
Mary and her co-workers are passionate about helping pets find good forever homes and a nice place to stop if you are traveling down the highway.
